Before finalizing a reservation, please examine this document attentively. By securing a rental with CedarCloudPaper, you are accepting and consenting to these refund conditions.
Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Rental
Qualified for: Entire refund except for administrative charges
Processing Duration: 5-7 business days
Administrative Charge: €50 for credit card payments
Requirements: Needs to be requested in a written format through email or by telephone
24-72 Hours Before Rental
Qualified for: Half of the total rental price
Processing Duration: 7-10 business days
Administrative Charge: €25 subtracted from the refund
Requirements: A valid reason is necessary; administrative expenses are applied
Less than 24 Hours Before Rental
Qualified for: No compensation is offered
Exception: Emergency situations may be taken into consideration
Option: Rental credit might be provided at the discretion of management
Requirements: Proof is needed for emergency claims
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Commitment to Safety
Our foremost priority is your safety. In the event that charter operations are not safe due to weather, as determined by our qualified captain, we present flexible alternatives:
- Complete Refund: Issued if rescheduling is unfeasible
- Rebook: Transfer your rental to an available date without extra costs
- Rental Credit: Acquire a credit valid for one year from the original booking date
Assessment Procedure for Weather
We assess weather conditions using the following:
- Evaluation of wind force and trajectory
- Assessment of wave dimension and sea conditions
- Forecast of visibility and precipitation
- Notifications and alerts from the Coast Guard
- Safety judgement from a professional captain
Decision Window: Decisions to cancel due to weather are made at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure.
Emergency Medical Refunds
Special Consideration Conditions
We are sympathetic to medical urgencies that may arise. Below are circumstances that might be eligible for special consideration:
- Sudden medical conditions or injury necessitating hospital stay
- Passing of a family member
- Urgent military responsibilities or recall
- Jury service or legal summonses
- Natural calamities impacting travel plans
Requirements for Documentation
Essential documentation needed to consider requests for emergency refunds:
- Official medical records or documents from the hospital
- Certification of death (if related)
- Orders from the military
- Notice of legal summons or duty to serve on a jury
- Emergency proclamations or travel alerts
Processing: Requests for emergency refunds are handled within 3-5 business days after receiving relevant documentation.
Cancellations Due to Operational Reasons
Technical Difficulties
If your appointed yacht is impaired and cannot be repaired:
- Substitute Vessel: An effort will be made to supply a comparable yacht
- Complete Refund: Issued if an appropriate substitute is not available
- Partial Refund: Provided if the substitute yacht has different pricing
- Additional Recompense: Additional recompense may be offered for any inconvenience
Unavailability of Crew
In the unlikely event that a certified crew is not available:
- Arrangements for an alternative crew will be sought if possible
- Full refund if the rental cannot continue
- An option to reschedule without additional charges
Procedures for Refund Processing
Methods of Payment
Compensations are reverted via the initial method of payment utilized for the reservation:
- Credit Cards: Within 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: Within 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: Within 3-5 business days
Administrative Charges
Handling Charges for Credit Cards
A €50 fee applies to cancellations requested with more than 72 hours notice
Handling Charges for Bank Transfers
A €25 fee applies for all refunds made via bank transfer
Processing for International Transactions
Additional handling fees can be incurred due to international payments
Rental Credits
Scenarios for Issuing Credits
In specific scenarios, rental credits could be presented as an alternative to a refund:
- Last minute cancellations (under 24 hours)
- Cancellations due to weather conditions
- Voluntary changes in rental dates
- Disruptions due to operational issues
Credit Details
- Validity Period: Credits valid for one year from issuance
- Nontransferable: Credits cannot be transferred to another individual
- Value: The full amount of the rental (excluding administrative charges)
- Applicability: Credits may be used for any available yacht rental
- Nonextendable: Credits will not be extended past one year
Compensation for Partial Services
Disruptions in Service
If the length of your yacht rental is reduced or hindered due to circumstances within our purview:
- A proportional refund relating to the unused duration
- Credit offer for a future rental of similar value
- Complimentary amenities or upgrades in certain cases
Interruptions Caused by Guests
If the rental ends prematurely owing to actions by guests or violation of safety measures:
- No compensation for the unused portion
- Full payment will still be required
- Potential additional costs can be incurred
Settling Discrepancies
Should there be a disagreement over a refund decision, several options are available:
- A request for reconsideration can be submitted to our management
- Supplementary documents or evidence can be provided
- Assistance from consumer protection organizations may be sought
- Engaging legal avenues in accordance with relevant laws

Second Step: Submit Required Information
In your application, provide the following details:
- Confirmation number for your reservation
- Date and time of the planned rental
- The motive for canceling
- Any pertinent documents (if relevant)
- Desired form of refund
Final Step: Confirmation and Processing
We will acknowledge your application within a day, evaluate based on our guidelines, decide within 48 hours, and if approved, process the refund within the previously mentioned timeframes.
Important Remarks
- All requests for refunds must be articulated in writing
- Refunds are processed in €, no matter the original currency utilized for payment
- Acquisition of travel insurance is advisable
- This document may be modified with a notice period of thirty days
- Refunds are subject to prevailing taxes and legal statutes
